Baby-Ballet

Early dance education

Movement is a natural basic need of children.
Hopping, jumping, running, spinning, clapping, and the age-appropriate fostering of creativity are all fundamental to an early dance education. Through first experiences with rhythm, music, and movement, the gross and fine motor skills become trained and the youngest dance pupils get to know their bodies with joy and fun, as well as develop their spatial awareness.

Ballet

A classic Ballet education provides an ideal basis for any and every other dance style. In a friendly atmosphere, Ballet training strengthens the muscles and the body awareness, and improves posture, coordination, and balance. This has a positive effect on the general quality of movement in everyday life. In addition, the training strengthens the character: Ballet teaches patience and evokes trust in one’s own capabilities. Thanks to our sizeable range of ballet lessons for every age group and level, there is a suitable session for everyone – whether beginners at any age, returners, or veterans.

Stage practise/ Character dance

In this session the students discover individual freedom within dance technique. Using small choreographed excerpts, students learn to express themselves through technical movements and elevate them to a new level.

Hip Hop

The term „Hip Hop“ refers to a US American street culture that gave rise to its own music, art and dance style.
The lesson begins with a warm-up to well-known and popular songs using basic steps and movement that serve to internalize the unique Hip Hop technique: Casual, cool, but precise.
At the end of every session the students practice a specially chosen choreography that gives the students the opportunity to apply what they have learned in practise, and that gives expression a central role. Hip Hop is, after all, not just a dance style, but also a lifestyle.

At the end of every session the students practice a specially chosen choreography that gives the students the opportunity to apply what they have learned in practise, and that gives expression a central role. Hip Hop is, after all, not just a dance style, but also a lifestyle.

Mini-Hip-Hop/-Jazz (5-8 Jahre)

In this lesson the students learn the basic steps and moves of Hip Hop and Jazz, and garner their first experiences of dancing to choreography. All this strengthens their body awareness, coordination, posture, and concentration. With the help of trending and popular beats, the children develop a feeling for rhythm and go home with a smile.

Jazz

From lyrical, slow dance through stage musical to Rock’n’Roll.

The lesson begins with an intensive warm-up in the middle (of the room?) that trains Jazz dance techniques, coordination, and body awareness. This is followed with exercises to strengthen the muscles and improve flexibility. Finally, the session ends with practising a chosen choreography, whereby the students have the opportunity to apply what they have learned in practise and a focus on the comparison between the different quality of movement is made. This session is guaranteed to improve both individual dance skills and put everyone in a good mood!

Jazz

From lyrical, slow dance through stage musical to Rock’n’Roll.

The lesson begins with an intensive warm-up in the middle (of the room?) that trains Jazz dance techniques, coordination, and body awareness. This is followed with exercises to strengthen the muscles and improve flexibility. Finally, the session ends with practising a chosen choreography, whereby the students have the opportunity to apply what they have learned in practise and a focus on the comparison between the different quality of movement is made. This session is guaranteed to improve both individual dance skills and put everyone in a good mood!

Barre

Barre Powerful is a full-body workout based on elements from Ballet and exercises with body weight. Muscles are specifically and systematically trained (especially stomach, legs, and buttocks) whereby stamina, balance, and coordination are simultaneously improved. The first part of the session involves intensive exercises focussed on the torso, and core/deep muscle training. This leads to a perfectly toned and formed body. In the second part of the session the whole body is exhaustively stretched thus releasing stress, letting go, and relaxing. This session will make you sweat and take you to your limits, but it is all done with a lot of fun!

Tribal Fusion Bellydance

This „modern“ variation of Bellydance mixes the sinuous, rippling moves of Tribal Fusion Bellydance with fast hip and body core motion. This technique of isolating interior moves is combined with elements of different dance styles (eg Hip Hop, Jazz to the sound and beat of contemporary music. Tribal Fusion promotes an acute body awarenes, and deep muscle fitness. The costumes and choreography involved are as diverse as the Bellydance fusion itself: from the glittering oriental of a thousand-and-one-nights to the archaic dress of a shamanic invocation. Freedom of individual expression is guaranteed!

Pilates

Pilates is a holistic full-body training that focuses on the deep stomach and back muscles, as well as the pelvis.
The training involves exercises for strength, coordination, balance, mobility, and flexibility, all combined with controlled and conscious breathing techniques. With the help of small equipment such as dumbbells, Therabands, and soft balls, and through sleek, interflowing movements these sessions guarantee diversity.

Pilates supports an upright posture, releases stress, and ensures a healthy body image. It is popular as a supporting balance especially for dance.
